How to enjoy Shizuoka【travel journy across Japan by car day4,6】(first half of Shizuka)
Hi everyone! I’m Maro from Japan.
In my blog, I will introduce how to travel in Japan like a local Japanese!

I have traveled across Japan by car for 1 month
and there are so many beautiful views and delicious local food.

In this series, “travel journy across Japan by car”
let me share you how I traveled to each prefecture
(it is a unit of area in Japan, Japan has 47 prefecture)
and how to travel and enjoy Japan in a local way.

So now, let’s get started!
This is a journal about Shizuoka prefecture!(day4,6)
.
Do you know Shizuoka prefecture?
.
Maybe no, because it’s not that popular like Tokyo or Kyoto in Japan.
But Shizuoka has also many amazing places so let me show you!
.
The first place I visited is “Kakitagawa park”.
This is spring from Mt.Fuji and super high transparency.
The blue was so beautiful and amazing like space.
.
For dinner, I had seafood on rice (Kaisen-Don in Japanese) in Numazu!
Numazu is famous for fresh seafood.
It was so fresh and delicious!
In Numazu, you can eat fresh raw small shrimp and whitebait.
.
For lunch in second day, I went to “Sawayaka”,
super famous hamburger steak.
This is sooo delicious and reasonable, so you should definitely go to this restaurant when u visit Shizuoka.
Every local friend recommends me go and it was amazing.
.
It’s different from other hamburger steaks because this is raw inside!
So you can enjoy the taste of raw beef and it is so great!
.
And the hospitality of this restaurant is also amazing.
Every staff has great “Omotenashi” spirit in Japanese.
.
Next place is “Miho-no-Matsubara”.
This is one of the best 3 views in Japan and famous for beautiful view of Mt.Fuji with sea and pine forest.
In this day, I couldn’t sea Mt.Fuji because it was cloud.
I hope it will be sunny and you can see the amazing view when you visit here.

The next place is “Air park”.
This is a museum of Japan Air Self-Defense Force.
It has so many old airplane of Japan Air Self-Defense Force.
It was so cool!
.
The dinner for last day in Shizuoka was “Hamamatsu-Gyoza”.
Hamamatsu is a name of city in Shizuoka and famous for Gyoza(Japanese dumplings)!
It is fried dumplings and so delicious!
Inside is onion, cabbage and pork.
.
The sweetness of vegetable and salty soy source and hot chili oil match a lot!
.
